Why maintenance pays off
Dirt, dust and exhaust fumes slowly cling to the PVC and the rubbers. Regular cleaning prevents greying and keeps the hardware smooth, so your windows and doors keep working well for years.
How to clean them
- Clean the frames twice a year with lukewarm water and a mild soap
- Use a soft cloth, no scouring pad or aggressive products
- Occasionally treat the rubbers with a little silicone spray
- Lubricate hinges and locks lightly once a year with the right oil
Check in time
Occasionally check that the glass still closes well and that there is no condensation between the double glazing. See condensation between the panes? Then the glazing needs replacing. We are happy to help.
